Tanesha M. Ford

Tanesha M. Ford is an actress,  writer, actor, poet and producer.  
​
Comfortable with both comedy and drama, Tanesha has spent the last seven years performing in Tongue & Groove Spontaneous Theater Company as an improvisational actress.   The serio-comic nature of the company allowed her explore new characters and emotional relationships every month.
 
Trained at Florida A&M University with peers such as Anika Noni Rose and Daniel Sunjata, Tanesha continued her growth as an actress under George DiCenzo.
 
Her work over the years has encompassed everything from Shakespeare in Clarke Park, Philadelphia to The Cherry Lane Theater, New York.

Tanesha has written the one woman show "All of Me" which made it's world premiere at the Philly Fringe Festival , it's New York Premier at the Emerging Artist's Theater annual One Woman Standing Festival and she has self produced it at the world renowned Duplex in the W. Village.   She continues to look for opportunities to perform this powerful play.​
